Welcome note

Dear Colleagues,

We are happy to announce the 6th Congress on Controversies in Stem Cell Transplantation and Cellular Therapies (COSTEM), Hybrid Congress which will take place October 21-24, 2021 virtually and in Berlin, Germany.

We are planning to hold the congress as a hybrid edition (with both face-to-face and virtual components).  We are keeping close watch on the on-going COVID-19 pandemic and should we need to shift the congress to a fully virtual platform, we will let you know in the coming months – for now, we do hope to welcome as many of you as safely possible in Berlin this coming October.

The current world crisis has created challenges for many of us, however, it is important to continue to build a platform for our community to interact with each other and to share our scientific research, clinical experience, and ongoing developments in our field.  COSTEM encourages active participation in debate discussions and challenges global experts to promote their positions on a wide range of burning issues – providing clinicians the opportunity to share, express, and compare experiences to establish and advance effective and reliable patient treatments.

The 6th COSTEM Congress will continue to push the envelope and be a progressive, compelling, and informative conference. As in the past, COSTEM continues to serve as a unique platform, where the most compelling and controversial topics facing clinicians in these fields are presented in a fascinating and exciting debate forum.

The decision on whether COSTEM 2021 will be Hybrid or fully virtual will be taken by June 1, 2021.

We look forward to welcoming you to COSTEM 2021!
